Wow, this really took me way back.
Ron Hardy played the hell out of the following at the Musik Box:
Gaz Nevada (IC Love Affair)
Starfflight (Dance to the Beat)
Stopp (I'm Hungry)
Chi Chi Liah (Proud Mary)
Early Medusa Days: Adam Rock, Great Divide, & Vicious Pink.
Other "Italo" favs are: Claudio Simonetti (I love the Piano), Klein & MBO, My Mine (Hypnotic Tango), Tantra (Celso Valli-Su Ku Leu/Mother Africa) & Gino Soccio.
Thanks Frank for the memories.

I may not be a DJ but "me knows my music". That's why I'm always listening/downloading/asking questions/& giving feedback.
If I had to pick my house theme song, it would be Patti Labelle's "Music Is My Way of Life".

I'm old school. "Su Ku Leu" was high school days.
Remember... "Stand up, sit down", "Get Down, Get Down", "Wear it out", & anything poppin' off the "Prelude" label.
As a matter of fact, here's something you didn't know. You actually helped me track down "Quartz - Beyond the Clouds".
It was at Jack-N-Jill party at South Commons. I heard the song on DAI but didn't get an id. That party night you were dj-ing and YOU played that song. I remember Mike and I looking at each other like, "there's that song". I went over and asked you the name and you told me. Mike told me who you were (I think that was the only time I ever met you during high school days). I developed an instant crush on you because you had my answer and was FINE !! http://deephousepage.com/smilies/hearts.gif
