Watching this movie kind of made me regret turning down a band scholarship I had to Florida A&M University. It would have been a blast.

I haven't yet viewed it in it's entirely, but the bits I caught put a big smile on my face. It reminded of my time down south and what jaded and neglected kids up north are sorely missing out on.

I saw it. It made me really regret not going to Black University. But I have children and all of them are going to these schools because of good bands.

Very nice movie indeed. And talk about skills!

My boy is in a band in Brooklyn (non-University) and he tells me that the movie depicts the way it really is (the beef, the skills, etc.).

Good flick.

Good thing that white boy didn't go to Georgia Tech.

it was a nice movie.

nick cannon = irritating

but the storyline was good enough that i didn't mind that this chump was in it. i like the brotha who played his nemesis also...

Black schools just love practicality, which can be a double-edged sword.
