Michael Ezebukwu started his DJ career in 1977 in Chicago, IL, the birthplace of house music,. Throughout the 1980's he influenced and inspired first generation Chicago house DJ's/Producers and dancers alike by showcasing his agressive signature sound on some of Chicago's hottest dancefloors in the cities most celebrated venues such as the Clubhouse, Larays, Rialto's, Sauer's, and Dingbats (where Mr. T was the bouncer) just to name a few.

He opened peoples minds to all genres of music and broke many records to a crowd that would lose their sanity on the dance floor.

A crowd that can only be described as mixed, debaucherous, and over the top.

He paved the way along with a handful of other visionaries and cultivated a scene that would one day create a world phenominon known as House Music.

This was before house music.
This was passion.
This was love.

This is the return...

and tear drops will touch the dance floor.

"Michael was and is a very rare talent The kind that touches and audience in a way the few ever can. he was never the type to toot his own horn or felt the need to run his talent up a flagpole to see how many folks would salute it. That's not the school we came from.
At his very core, Michael is a great talent and a very sweet man. Another Chicago treasure."
-Frankie Knuckles

"Mike Ezebukwu was a pioneer and valuable contributor to the house music scene. Mike Ezebukwu's contributions to our scene was equally as valuable as Ron Hardy's, Frankie Knuckles, and his other DJ peers."
-Robert Williams

"His work brought people of all race, breed, and style together in
celebration. Mike helped inspire us all."
-Vince Lawrence

"Micheal is one of those Dj's who knew how to break a new record. Listening to him at the Clubhouse, and hearing these songs that i've never heard before, but being played with such an aggression made me understand who he was, and is today. A PURE LEGEND. To me, Micheal was just as high as Frankie, and Ron in his own right, and I was pleased to have played with such a person. I love Mike."
