A special thanks to all the faithful who packed the house this past Friday for the Tortured Soul gathering, an event that we’ll let our good friend DJ Marv summarize:
(From districtsoul)
”I have a Confession to make........

Meanwhile, this Friday, October 3rd, Resident DJs Sam ‘the Man’ Burns & Henri ‘da Man’ kickoff this month with their monthly night of soulful underground house music and nonstop dancing on at the DC Sanctuary Art Gallery and Performance Space, 1355 H Street, NE. Live art by Chez. Doors: 11 pm until 5 am
On Saturday, October 4th, DJ Mandrill is back for his monthly Saturday night affair at the DC Sanctuary, an event affectionately known as “the Party.” As you know, DJ Mandrill is peerless when it comes to seamlessly mixing old and new stuff at this very special party where all are welcome (gay, straight or whatever) -- just like “back in the day,” And come to think of it, we’re going to let DJ Marv open for Mandrill and vent on the turntables some of that soulful enthusiasm he expressed earlier. So get ready for another night of good vibes & great music.

coming soon:
On Saturday, October 11, 2003, the Sanctuary marks the Howard University Homecoming Weekend with The Libra Party hosted by Pat Hatchel and featuring Resident DJs Oji and Pope + Special Guest Visiting DJ Eman from NYC’s Bang the Party.
