THE MESSAGE -== Thomas (Wicked Crew)
Thomas, a.k.a. "The Mammal", has been DJing for 15 years. He began in London with the Tonka Sound System relocating to San Francisco in '91 where along with Garth Jeno and Markie he formed the Wicked Crew; a collective of renegade DJ's and Promoters that changed the face of American dance music.
During this time in S.F. Thomas began recording and releasing his own records. Working alone and alongside partner Tim "Love" Lee he made several 12" Singles for labels like Tummy Touch, Pussy Foot and his own label Three Sixty Records.
Thomas now lives in New York. Here he throws the legendary after hours loft jam; Rub and Tug and guests at several major nightclubs in the city.
Thomas has recorded 12" Singles for several dance labels including Howie B's Pussyfoot Records, DJ Garth's Greyhound Recording's and Tim "Love" Lee's Tummy Touch. Even more significantly, Thomas' band "A.R.E. Weapons" were signed last year alongside The Strokes and The Moldy Peaches to the infamous independent label Rough Trade.
This friday will be eclectically off the hook...see you on friday!!
