::The power of Voices brings the dancers together - to sing, scream, clap their hands, or simply close their eyes::
Dear dancer,
We at Voices are proud to present 'Lift Them Up', a special event which will be held on Thursday 16th October 10pm-2am at Plastic People, our eminent club of choice and the favourite for serious music lovers and dancers across London. Your musical hosts, DJs ALEX, CEDRIC WOO and RAMAR will be making the most of this setting and your positive energy, with a selection of music to inspire feet and feeling. We will be joined by percussion accompaniment from BONGOMANIAC as well as a guest live vocalist (tbc).
This is an event which we will be insisting that you attend - for your own enjoyment and musical fulfillment via the superior sound system for which Plastic People is known, and for the benefit of those assisted across the world by the charity ActionAid, to whom all proceeds from the sale of tickets will be donated.
Tickets are now available to purchase in advance at the cost of just ?5. You can hold of tickets in three ways: direct from us in person; or send a cheque made out to 'ActionAid' to - Voices, Flat 10, 5 Strype Street, London E1 7LG; or from behind the counter at Vinyl Junkies (Basement, 9 Berwick St, Soho) or Smallfish Records (372 Old St). Please contact us at info@clubvoices.co.uk with any queries.
This is a time when your support of Voices will be at its most valued - and valuable. We hope you'll want to make your Voices heard and your contributions felt - lift them up!

The Voices collective is the combination of DJs Alex (Attica Blues Allstars), Cedric Woo and Ramar (Materielle). The name captures an important element of the Voices sound - the power of the song, which universally binds us to each other and to the dancefloor.
The Voices sound is characterised by the DJs' abilities to trace musical links between genres, with healthy doses of the familiar and the surprising along the way. Step with us through Deep House, Disco, Funk, Soul & Hip Hop, Dub, Jazz Fusion, electronic rhythims and beyond so we can leave the categories behind...
