Born and raised in Detroit, Anthony began djing in high school and has been
active in the Detroit music scene since the early eighties. He was one of the
featured artists on the "Techno: The New Dance Sound of Detroit" the 1988
U.K. compilation that helped launch Detroit techno in Europe. He has recorded
for many labels including Metroplex, KMS and Peacefrog, he has also assisted
behind the scenes with the likes of Transmat as well.

Anthony also has produced local Detroit hip hop acts such as Bombshell,
Scarelly Moe, Klout, and most recently co-produced the new Urban Tribe album
for Mo Wax. He has also remixed many artist's music including Inner City and
the Belgium techno pop band Telex . In 1995, he and close friend, Claude Young
formed Frictional Recordings, which he continues to run to this day.
Time to respect the man.

Shake will be joined on the night by a t-funkshun favourite, Jonny McIntosh.
Jonny has been appearing almost from the start at t-funkshun so quite fitting
that he plays in our birthday. This will be his 3rd visit to us. Quite simply one
of the most talented and uncompromised deejays we've ever heard.

Hey Jurren, I'm looking forward to it, it should be great fun. It was certainly enough to get me to trash my no DJing till summer rule!
