Thankyou thankyou thankyou how do you want to work? do you want to use the computer as your main sequencer? or the MPC? what do you want to use as a controller keyboard? do you only want to record audio from your microkorg or do you want to trigger it using MIDI?

well...id like to use the mpc as the sequencer and use the sounds off the korg.......basically i just want to sync what i have completed in reason with the MPC....i can match reason and the MPC by ear at times but i want that shit on...this way its could make things easier when working with a production partner......

remember: midi clock is something else than MTC (midi time code)
furthermore you have to connect the second midi output of the MPC to the microkorg input to trigger the microkorg from the MPC.....
i guess you want to use the oxygen as a midi controller, so connect this to the midi input on the MPC, and forward it inside the MPC to the midi output.... this way you can use the oxygen to play samples on the MPC, trigger the microkorg sounds, and use it to play reason sounds....

could you explain this bit a little more....
and as far as any other mpc midi settings....see the machine is not mine but i'll have it for some time.......

and as far as any other mpc midi settings....see the machine is not mine but i'll have it for some time....... ok, what you probably want to do is use the oxygen8 as your main keyboard, so you can use it to play sequences and record these into the MPC.... to be as flexible as possible you want the oxygen to be connected to as much midi devices as possible so you can play them all if you want to..
so if you connect the midi out of the oxygen to the midi in of the MPC, then connect the first midi out of the MPC to the midi in of the microkorg, and connect the second midi output of the MPC to the FW410 which is connected to your computer running reason...
now you use the MPC to route the incoming midi from the oxygen, plus you use the MPC to control(sync) the reason sequencer.... inside the MPC you can set to which midi output(s) the incoming midi data is forwarded....so if you want to play the microkorg from the oxygen you set the MPC to forward the incoming midi data to the first midi out (which is connected to the microkorg midi input) . if you now play a note on the oxygen keyboard it is send to the MPC (where you can record it if you want) plus it's forwarded to the microkorg, so you hear the microkorg responding to the notes you play..
if you have set the MPC to send midi clock over the second midi output, which is connected to the midi in on the FW410 , and reason is setup to sync to the midi input on the FW410, you can press play on the MPC and reason also starts playing, in the same tempo as the MPC..so you can control Reason from the MPC sequencer this way...you even can use the MPC pads to trigger reason sounds....
if you setup the MPC to forward the incoming oxygen8 midi data to both the midi out 1 AND midi out 2, you can also use the oxygen8 keyboard to play the reason sounds ....
of course you need a mixer to connect the audio output of the MPC, microkorg and FW410(with the sound of reason on your computer) and mix them together.....
i hope this makes some sense ;)

hail.gif yeah it does.......its just a bit hard cuz im workin right now, but later when im in front of all the gear it'll make much more sense...
now the only mixer im using is the one that im using 4 my turntable setup........oh yeah i ALSO have a U-33 evolution midi controller....which is basically a midi/usb bus powered "mixing board"
LOL
But THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN SOUNDS LIKE I'LL BE IN SERIOUS BUSINESS........
