Ever get this? Some weeks the music seems to fall out the mixer and other weeks it's like banging your head against a wall. I can never understand it.
Walk away from it for a while,
you will be amazed at what happens when you are not thinking about it.

Relax, and change your starting point. If you are trying to start with drums, look for a bass riff or strings first.
Worst case have some Absolut and listen to different music than what you are trying to create. smile.gif

Happened last week....then I got the dreaded blue screen of death. Seems like XP didn't take kindly to my new 1 gig piece of cheap ass memory and brought the whole system down. Spent 3 days trying to figure out what the problem was. The good thing is that it took my mind of the mixes i have to finish for a while..the bad? uh well how 'bout a whole reinstall of every audio app, plug in and tool i have!! Crap another 15+ hours of lookin' at a screen.
peace
