G5 Upgrade or Protools HD ?

Ok here is my situation .

1. I just recently came across a problem in my (dual 867 ) G4 mac computer ,running protools LE 4.6. ( digi 001 )
My problem is that after like 25 tracks of audio my computer simply isn't powerful enough to continue without giving me error messages like this one ( Go into playback engion and increase buffer size )
despite trying this ,my computer simply just runs out of juice to keep working without this problem occuring .

2. So doing some research i have 2 options

A. Buy a new G5 and upgrade to protools digi002 ( because G5 is no longer supporting digi 001's

or
B. Go HD protools because then I would be able to still use my present G4 .

What would you suggest doing ? Help please

utilizing all the power of protools really would mean getting the full _hardware_ version of protools. of course thats quite a few extra bucks to spend.
Are you sure you want to stay with protools?
You might be happy with logic on a G5.

g5 is the way to go. you will continue to have problems on the g4. no matter what you do.
