sx has an automate feature...i have never really used it...maybe once a while ago...
did you check that? that may be the solution
that's all i really can offer...good luck.

i am pretty sure that the logic behind it is it automates your fx...such that you can record your effects live onto a new track...so that new track is just the effects settings for the original track that you were "effecting".
i am pretty sure that it is an option somewhere within cubase...if you look in the manual and look for "automation" or "effects" or "fx"...something will come up that will explain this better.
ya know, im not sure about this...i was just throwing it out there as a possibility...
someone on here prolly has a better understanding...

yeah i know how to automate shit,it's just that re-wire thing... it hooks in a program from outside... so for an instence, i have a channle on the cubase mixer, i can record volume changes etc... even put on fx and dynamics but the modulations of the "303" r doen outside actual cubase, in the actual rebirth program that is now a "slave" for the cubase... thanx anyway for trying to help smile.gif
If rebirth is a slave to cubase via rewire,
you should be able to record your modulation by the devices on your keyboard(pitch or modulation wheel) or by simply writing in the slope in your edit window in cubase.
the bottom part that has the velocity, modultation, pitch etc....

this can't be a rewire problem. if Rebirth supports automation then you just need to figure out how to record automation within it.
i've not used Rebirth so i'm not sure .. but with Reason you can easily record the automation within Reason itself so i would think it might be in there.
or maybe i'm misunderstanding the question here...

it doesn't let me record on rebirth. the "303" sequence is on the rebirth itself, i don't have a greed window for it or alike...
the record button on the rebirth is disabled... graemlins/conf44.gif it's just a a repeated loop from the rebirth, i have a channel for it on the cubase mixer, so i mute it and open it whenever i want to... regarding modulations i have no clue...
