I knew it was D-Ha! Well, under a different alias (The Beat Addicts), but still the same guy. And I totally forgot about Sweat. Mostly likely I tended to only think of the Roland mix CD that was on that label. Thank for schoolin' me, Armey!
Yes it's some UR track.. Sweatrecords? Imagine or imagination. It's happy for me
I'm doing well, thanks for asking! Though I've had something on my mind since I heard that mix of yours - regarding the last track, I know it. I know it well. It sounds like a 1992 Detroit house track. Maybe the artist is D-Ha? And it might be on one of the labels distributed by UR - Happy Soul, Happy Records, Simply Soul, or Soul City. At least that's what it reminds me of. So, tell me... what is the last track?
thanks man, you know i appreciate you. really thought it was way sloppier than how i like to be and i dont even consider myself a tight blender. i'll redo and do a full version though.. need to dig for more of those melodic driving weirdly harmonic tracks in the stacks.. really hate not living with my vinyl.. some day soon i'll be reunited with them. how you bees and where's your new mix?
Messy? You thought your mix was 'messy'? That's just being overly critical, but I guess we all do it to some degree when listen to our own mixes! Honestly, I downloaded and am listening to it a second time right now... and I think it's 'the cat's meow'!
jesus, the mix was so messy i deleted it. it was like a practice run and wasn't thought out at all.. i'm going to have to put some of those tracks together soon and do it right. was so nice touching vinyl again.
Excellent mix! And it ended with the perfect song!
I told you before, I'm off of Facebook... you don't remember, do you? I felt that it 'jumped the shark' more than a year ago. I also got sick of all the 'shoe tagging' spam, the 'buy my new track' spam, and everyone posting and reposting the same mildly funny pictures for weeks on end. Plus, my sister and her kids joined. Then my father joined. And I realized that I really don't want those people knowing my personal business, so I cut loose. Thanks for the mix, Armey! I'm actually listening to Rob Hood's 'Minimal Nation' while downloading your mix. As soon as this is done, I'll listen to yours!
hey wise guy, stop changing your name! can't find you on FB now. now hear dis! http://armento.podomatic.com/entry/2...11_55_59-07_00
