If your trying to import audio direct from a CD then i have had the same problem, you need to import the track into something like itunes etc and then import that...

Has anyone ever had problems tryin to install plugins from other manufacturers onto Logic?

Just seen an ad in music tech magazine for usb mics and rememberd this thread. www.soundtech.co.uk is the samson audio site looks like they do condenser and dynamic usb mics hope this helps. ;)

yea it does, thanks. i had tried using more than one sound before but never really thought about eq ing them like that, guess its kinda simallier to the "cube theory" for mixdowns.
