Excuse me but I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to rhyming slang - avoids being confused with the ever growing multitude of mockneys ;)

According to Mark E. Smith the north will rise again. [/QB]
I met him towards the end of last year in a council flat in salford. someone had ripped him off and sold him a bag of weed leaves that were unsmokeable... to say he looked messed up would have to be the understatement of the century. I actually thought he was just an old tramp until the guy who's flat it was told me...

I've met plenty of North London people, early to mid thirties, from the Black Horse Road to Enfield and they all say Jeckyl. I've even heard Danny Baker say it, so it must be Kosher..

Are you giving it the Barry (McGuiggen) or what my son?

Isn't this an ongoing thread of British drivel that can take itself off on a tangent about pretty much anything.

I still hold that UKG, Speed Garage, Two-Step, Gangstar Garage, or whatever, is nothing more than pop music

You don't have to treat them like local London girls who want to go out for a meal, ballet, art gallery, etc. Just take a northerner some Baby Cham an a take away & you've got yourself a paaaarty. OK, so you might have to listen really closely to understand them, but man, you sure have some sexy women up North. Got to give respect where it's due.

All this talk about the shelter got me thinking about clubs. & I only have 1 thing to say...

The Pink Coconut!!

Now that's a club worth talking about!!

Martin Red you must have some stories about that place.

Isn't this an ongoing thread of British drivel that can take itself off on a tangent about pretty much anything. </font>
Basically, it was about a TV programme and then some people from London got offended as i had my own opinion towards Jungle and ga rarge and Twice as Nice.

Also, people actually missed the point that Trevor made some comments HIMSELF, e.g: - Working class people in the north and South where the first on this music love, this also wound a couple of people up also, but I doubt they wrote an email to Trevor

Now it just a reason for the Brits to have a long running thread of their very own.

P.S

London = Cool
London = Chic (which is a french word and the name of an american group)

Watch out Mah'chew, that's having an opinion, those ga rarge types don't like the opinion thing. Remember your British therefore everything that comes out of your mouth or typed by your fingers should be 100% positive if it's to do with ANY music that comes out of the UK.

I can't wait for the Garridge remixes of the fast food song, cus it's UK cool nah mean, wicked, UK is bumping, proper.

The best way to get worms out the ground is too pour diluted fairy liquid onto the ground, it's amazing how many worms appear.

Fancy a game of gets ?
