Whatever happened to Holloway & Eastwick??
These 2 were probably the deepest duo out of UK.
And then....
After (about) Paper#45, pure downhill slide, I never bought another Paper record again.
Just wondering??

Good question. I never got into them too much until a few years ago when a friend of mine was spinning at a party and he was playing one of their tracks. Real deep stuff.
Paper is up to it's 100th release and is about to wrap up. Some great records over the years!
I thought Salt City Orchestra broke up and one of them records as Problem Kids. I could be wrong though.
Yeah, you are wrong! They stopped recording as Salt City Orchestra because they stopped working with Si Brad, who was the engineer largely responsible for their 'sound'. They now use the name Reset (and another one, but I can't remember what it is offhand). They're still around. Si Brad's dropped off the radar, though, which is a shame because he's a mega talent (he engineered a lot of the early stuff on Toko, too).
look out for the si brad & azeem "conapt" album next year on toko, from what I remember of reading the toko site they are going to release some dubs etc from it first...

I had most Paper releases upto about pap27, then only a couple after that.
Crazy Penis and Those Norwegians where some of the best along with SCO
Si Brad is still working away in new Mt St manchester, next time I am there I'll find out what he's up to, last I heard he was planning to get some stuff stateside.
The Azeem album has been finished for ages, dunno what Toko are up to.
Sit tight and listen keenly, while I play for you another brand new musical biscuit
Were those guys involved with Weekender on Toko?
'Sunday Session' is one of my all time fave tunes
Stay centred, see the humour, carry on regardless.
Si was. He engineered (I think) all of the early Toko stuff.Originally posted by OReilly:

weekender is si brad & alex moran (alex was also ultracynic in the early 90's, sure he'd rather not be reminded about that though)
