never heard him live either but as a producer he is consistently unearthing elements in music i have either never come across or have forgotten altogether.

he is gifted in that he has THE ear and the insight to breathe life into most productions.

cant touch Theo...as a producer and as a performer....

my fav album by him was first floor ep..released sometime in 1999 i think...

first time i heard theo live was in March 2001 at a dirty warehouse place called the reverb in Toronto. kick ass sound system tho...and its a concert venue so the dj was on an elevated stage..probably one of the best parties of my life...at 3 am he dropped erro's "Dont change"...mixed in the bassline first and slowly faded in the vocals...this was when this track was just coming out....the vibe at the party was so deep and so good that there were tears in my eyes...(i was a tearing on the dancefloor virgin till this date;)...never has a track hit me so hard in the soul on the dancefloor before...the man DJing basically elevated the standards i expect from DJ's now...cause Theo Parrish can truly communicate with the crowd on a deeper level and not just show off his record collection and mixing skills..
