I guess that depends on how many people know you personally. There are people that I have seen at parties whom I did not think to be Gay or Bi but found out different. Most of the Chicago people know, have seen or see eachother at clubs on a weekly basis and most of us know our status as of orentation.

To reveal it on the board, why not if asked - unless one is not comfortable with their orentation.

If you are trying to take a poll to determine the percentage of Gay, Straight or Bi Members, just do 2 poll with the question:

Are you Straight or Gay
Are you Srtaight or Bi

I have no understanding how a man can be sexually attracted to a man, and the Bi thing, I can even begin on that bit of bouncing back and forth.

One thing I will say is, people tend to be judgmental when they too live in a glass house.

We all fall short of the commandants, be it an action or thought.

ha ha! @ Yuji, no wonder I am always fighting dudes off! Everyone else knew!

Ligament, I feel you, it has nothing to do with deep house music, you are absolutely right.

Leonard, I might just do a poll. There are a lot of topics going right now regarding homosexuality, and I was just curious to see what the audience replying consisted of, and to see if people would answer my question. I guess more people would more comfortably respond anonymously. Thanks!

I've revealed my gender preference in several threads. I haven't made any declarations - such as "I'm straight!" or "I'm gay!", but it isn't too hard to discern.

Apparently I would. I remember after telling my parents at 18, I figured the rest of the world would just have to deal.

Whether you are straight or gay doesn't have anthing to do with the music discussions-I agree. But when it comes to getting to know each other here as a community, I see nothing wrong with sharing that.

I appeciate people that share that much about themselves. It helps to bring us all closer and break down taboos. Which is funny, because there are still may homophobes among my DJ peers in Chi. Which is too bad, because without the contributions of the gay community-house music would not be where it is today.
