Unfortunately, it took the gray bar hotel to change my ways. I've seen the light!

Basecore,
I feel you. I got shut by the po-po when I was 19. I was only in for a night thanks to some extra cash stashed and a Mom that was Mad Cool. I was in the County Pen with the realness. It was not fun. The experience altered me in a way that no one can understand. I was tremendously ambitious before and while I am still to certain degree, I feel as though it robbed me of some of my spark for life. People pegged me to be super-successful when I was in high school. I am to a certain degree, but not in the way or to the degree that I and those around me felt I would.
Bottom line=Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
What I learned is that there are too many positive things to do with your time to have fun and more lucrative ways to make money that are legit to even think about what I was doing back then.
Stay outta jail and:

And now
No one wears it on their sleeves that they were ocked up.The ones who talk mad shit about jail are usually Bubba's lil bitch in the joint.
I've seen the hardest break down about being in.You have some who actually adjust well to prison lie and prefer that to outside life.Trust me,most folks I know who did a bid in the joint, not the county jail, will not just speak on jail experiences.
I don't broadcast my experience, but if its asked about, it ill share it. It was real enough for me to avoid doing teh same thing again. I wasn't bragging or anything.Originally posted by JAMIE 3:26:

There was a definite correlation between my experience and being robbed of my ambition.
Dance like nobody\'s lookin
Then you got the fools like my son who figure now they got street stripes. Left Rikers and went right back on those streets. I had to go embarass him to come home.Originally posted by houseaddict:

It's a shame to say, but that was when I started to lose all respect for that boy.

my nephew is doing 3 years, his little ass thought he was cute b4 he got there, but afterwards he is now singing a new song. i would say 10 percent of people i know did not have to be there just followers.
he is bless he has brothers from the hood watching his back and front. they don't play up there and we tried to tell him about the elements.
he heard it was easy to do time. his so called boys ain't going to see his ass. most of the people i knew who did time when back more than 3 times. its a way of life.
no education , no trade and life skills to survive outside. they became career crimnals.

Damn, you guys got it all wrong this was a joke about someone else. Then I deleted it. Because it was mean spirited.
Sorry, never did jail time.
