    I need to know will there be HOUSE MUSIC or just Detroits version of house......

    I'm not from Detroit but what do you mean by this statement? please desrcibe the difference in styles.
    I think Detroit has a better house music scene than Chicago right now..
    How do I know? Because I been doing both scenes for the last few years.

    I absolutely didnt mean for you to take it the wrong way...

    I'm from Chicago and I do listen to ALL house music from the States and other Countries....

    NEVER did I assume you were from Detroit

    I just wanted to know if it was really house music....
    I used to frequent Detroit and then their version of house was always on the lines of Fast Eddie and never upgraded../ changed tempo

    I do agree, there are other Dejay's that are NOT from CHICAGO that have introduced new house vibes to the Windy City...

    No offense taken.. I'm from chicago as well.. and i've been to some nice events and checked out some very good djs from Detroit. I know they have djs that love to play only classics just like alot of djs here in chicago. Now if that's what you like, then that's cool. But there is a tight-ass Detroit crew of djs that play a well rounded set of music.

    I find it amazing when some Detroit djs come to Chicago and hardly none of the house heads (chi) never come and check these guys out. The peeps that usually come out for them is mostly younger, white crowd.. And they have a good time. I can count on one or two hands how many brothas & sistas come out and check them out.

    From Derrick May, 3Chairs, Mike Clark & BeatDownSounds, etc. These guys come here and play for a "northside" crowd that usually seems to be the only ones to support them.

    All that just to say.. The "D" got some tight djs men and women and they can play hard, smooth, classics, techno & fast eddie style. It's all good.

    by the way, I checked your page... you are a cutie! I see we know some of the same folks too.

    I know exactly what you mean about our peeps.
    I work on the Northside of Chicago on LakeShore Drive (LSD) and when I have a function, usually the turnout is predom otherthan our peeps.

    It's cool though, I go where the House is....muzik is my religion.
    I am going to make reservations somewhere in Detroit or most likely I'll stay in Ann Arbor for this event.

    Sk Net Cafe is an internet/coffee shop during the day turned lounge in the evenings with a great front patio area, and if you wondering, yes they sell alcohol, LOL!
