I'm with you, Matty. Joe and Julius sounded like a dream duo to me and I was sorry I could not get to Chicago for that match up. Once again: Oh, how I miss Body & Soul. It was rumored that Joe was planning a party in NYC. Haven't heard any more about it, though.

Nice to hear your reviews on the Chicago night... he said he had a good time.

Saturday, he played in Detroit with Amp Fiddler (Amp on keyboards and singing while Joe worked the isolator). They sounded soooo tight together, which is great considering they never tried that before. Those Dope Real isolators really are sweet - even if they do cost $1000 per. Joe must have gone on around 1:30 am and played until 6 or 6:30 am. He really works it hard... the crowd ate it up. I didn't see a single person standing - everyone danced (and all night too!). What a special evening...
