Something that disturbed me about the Foo Fighters on the VMA

I am sitting here getting ready to go see the Tyler Perry movie while watching the Foo Fighters perfomance from the VMA's. Why did I see a noose hanging from Dave Grohl's mic...? Any other time I probably would not have thought about it too much, but there has been so many incidents in the last few weeks with noose's being hung all around the country that this is disturbing. I am a fan of the Foo Fighters and I not saying that I think Dave Grohl or the Foo Fighters are racists, but I am surprised that no one else has paid attention to this or said anything about it... Am I wrong...? It can clearly be seen in any of the Youtube videos from the performance. Just a rant before I head out.
