DJ's Mark Grusane and Mike Cole (Mr. Peabody Records)

In the world of rare vinyl, DJ's Mike Cole and Mark Grusane own the
store....literally. Everyone else is just shopping in it. Their store, Mr.
Peabody's, is the finest record store in Chicago, boasting a collection of
vintage records that no one else in the city can touch. Playing Sonotheque on a
monthly basis, Mike and Mark open their vaults for very special nights of
classic dance music. They pack more heat than an oven door, tastefully folding
rare disco, soul, funk, into New Wave, house, and boogie. Listening to them
play records is like being on a time traveling dance floor. Be prepared to
dance...hard. XT and her crew got their buns buttered at our first two Buttered
Buns events and in their words: "'twas awesome!"
