Anyone here have a Microsoft Zune MP3 Player?

They have them on sale for 89.99 and I was wondering if anyone here had one and how they like it. I have a creative Zen Touch model that 20 GB and it works ok but I cant load the playlists from the mixes I get

I own the Zune. I like it a lot. The reason for the 89 dollar Zune is they are coming out with the 80GB version real soon and also only the dookie-colored brown Zunes are 89 dollars.

Still, bad color or not, 89 bucks for a 30GB player is a damned good price.

well...with the creative zen touch(its an older model) it has a monochrome screenand displays the current song, album and artist. with mixes it just shows the artist song and album. thats a drag for a 2 hr mix. It looks like with the Zune you can load a text file and view the playlist from a mix while it is playing. so in other words the mp3 portion of the player plays the mix and the file viewer portion of the device you can view the text file. Does that make sense?

Yes. I have not tried that, but I do know that as a song is playing on mine, the CD cover of the CD it came on is displayed. I see no reason why you could not have a playlist come up while you mix is playing.

yes it makes sense but i wonder if that playlist file has to be written to the IDV3 tag.

cool, have you tried to sync it wifi?

Got my Zune yesterday and man do i love it. this wifi sync is the shit. no more having to plug in my USB to update my playlists to my zune. the video play back is super tight. i put the american ganster boot on there and only took up 100mb od space.

only downside is the zune version of itunes. the most annoying thing is not being able to drag and drop from my music folder to a zune playlist directly. takes some getting used to but i hope and updated version will fix that
