The Godfather of Disco is a documentary detailing the music of West End Records, the life of its founder Mel Cheren and the hey day of NYC's Paradise Garage and DJ Larry Levan. Monday Nov 12 @ 8:30 the film will show at the Columbia College theater Film Row (1104 S. Wabash). The afterparty follows at Boom Boom Room @ Green Dolphin featuring DJ LADY D and songstress JOI CARDWELL (who are both part of the film).
