    My Mustang was Totaled

My first car I fully owned. I just had it looking back right. It was in an accident back in August. I had the body work fixed put some new lights, decals and some new shoes on it. I was said but I will be getting a check for $8,000 today. Didn't think it would be worth that much because it's a 2000 and had 104,000 miles on it. The rims weren't damage and I took the whole sound system out.

DAAAAAYUM!! The exact same thing happened to me back in '04. I had a '92 GT. Put $7000 into it in April of '04 (New engine, headers, new exhaust, new clutch, body, paint, scooped hood). I basically had a new car...totalled it in December of the same year - icey roads. I was (and still am) devastated - I was planning on holding on to that car forever.

Same here. Car ran perfectly. It was a GT with some engine modifacations. I brought it from this mexican guy. The car was extra fast. Take off I was hurting necks. I was going to try to hold on to this to give to my son once he starts driving in 3 years. I put alot money into and it was a beast.

    damn....

ya'll givin' me flashbacks and shit....

I bought a '91 GT Hatchback back in '93, white with the dark maroon and black interior. Took all the emblems off, tinted windows, dropped about 1.5 inches, Enkei black mesh rims with mmmm lemme think if I can remember...

255/50's in the back, 225/50's in the front.

Had 3.73 gears in the rear end, Centerforce racing clutch, short shifter, underdrive pulleys, the air box modification, bigger MAF, bigger fuel injectors, roller rockers, B303 cam, Dynomax exhaust (sounded MUCH sweeter/deeper than Flowmaster) and a few other things I can't remember right now...

I'll have to find some pics of it and scan them.

Never ran it in the 1/4 mile, but ran it in the 1/8th mile a few times for shits & grins. Based on my trap speed, 60ft times etc it was most likely a very high 12's or low 13's in the quarter.

It got stolen in like 1995ish in NYC over near Palladium. By that point I was getting tired of it and was actually kinda happy it got stolen.. except all the music that was stolen inside the car.

    After that, I got a '92 Nissan 300zx.

    Peace

Mine was one of the few "red on red" that I'd seen. The entire interior matched the exterior. Loved my ride even more because it wasn't that super-bright firehouse red that I've seen on some 'Stangs
