Was truly a great one.
It took me a little while to get used to the technics 1200's cd players, but I hung in there. I'd expected to play for maybe about an hour and a half tops. However, when we'd received word that Greg Grey was snowed in at Chicago I caught more airplay. The crowd got there at about 10:45pm(that's crazy early!). To be honest, I didn't recognize about 90 percent of these folks so it took me a little bit of time to see what they were into. I've always been fascinated with appealing to and playing for the different people that you don't get to see at every housemusic event. It could be a little cliqueish. They've recieved me pretty well, but when Duron got on it was a complete beatdown. Outside of me being very exhausted, it was close to a perfect night. There was plenty of eyecandy in there acting a fool. Barry and Duron are very serious when it comes to the soundsystem. It's bangin'!
I can't believe that that was my first time being there in the two years that they've been in existence.
Thanks to you guys for the opportunity to play at your joint!
