It's really hard out here for kids today, but dealing drugs is a guarantee you're gonna do time. Then you can't vote, hold civil service jobs, get financial aid ,etc. and the list goes on. All he's doing is keeping CO's, lawyers, judges, court clerks, bail bondsmen fed. And making his girl give up time buying sneakers, having books shipped & what not, probably taking up time for any kids they may have. I know a kid that did a bid, but you know what? If you've ever watched the "First 48" on A & E channel, you see just how stupid people are when they get caught. You also see how easy it is for a life to be taken. Usually for some petty reason or a few dollars. The really sad thing about that show is how young a lot of the victims are. Teenagers lives wasted for nothing. And the detectives giving esch other high fives for each confession they elicit from a suspect. They just want to close cases, which is good for their career advancement. Not to say that they don't have epathy for the victim and their families, but there's always another case coming up to bat that must be dealt with.
