One of the best records I've bought in the last couple months (but then again I haven't bought that many).
I think it's worth it as long as you're not paying eBay prices; I'd personally pay up to $10-12 for it.
Although I'm sure the price is sky high by now...good luck

I can't believe you slept on this, yo!

This track has been discussed a few times, and YES, if you see it, get it, it's worth it! Trust me! BUT, don't get beat for it.

ALSO, what was the track you played off the Abstract Afro Lounge Vol 4 again?

My bad, I didn't know there was a remix already.

Where are you, in Philly? Just visiting or did you make that move?

And just been bootlegged in March.

Copies of a 12" 'promo' with "I'm Doin Fine" and "Black Mahogany" hit stores this week. I'm pretty sure this boot is out of the UK.

Even if KDJ is not in it for the $$$'s, he has a great opportunity to spread and promote quality music. "I'm Doing Fine" was a tribute to the late Laura Gavoor... a close friend of KDJ (and also sometime booking agent). It's a little sad to see bootleggers profitting off the record, but it's supply vs. demand.

KDJ and Theo Parrish really need to address their approach to distribution, otherwise more and more bootlegs will hit the market (I bet alot of the Theo Parrish mix CD's doing the rounds a few months ago were also bootlegged by 'other' distributors). They owe it to themselves to be in control of the manufacture/distribution process.

The quality on this boot is fine. It misses the original B Side, which had an instrumental & Dub, instead there is a version of Mahogany Brown, which I haven't heard.
