Thats what we call a catch-22, pretty manipulative, question the word and go the deepest pit of hell, tisk. Anyway, looks good though, as an agnostic, I'm about to check out chapter 4 specifically. Our conviction is it is illogical to believe or disbelieve in things you cant prove or disprove. Since it is impossible to disprove the existance of god...it is illogical to disbelieve in god. Of course since it is also impossible to prove the existance of god...it is equally illogical to believe in god...thus agnosticism. Now it can be rationally argued that most 'religions' are obviously fictional or mythical...but thats a different debate. The logical answer to us concerning the existance of god is simply 'we dont know'. My man seems to be promoting an athiestic theory in Chap 4 and, knowing theres no rational way to prove atheism, disprove god...I must read his theories...before I dubunk his irrational dogma lol. You see the problem is, if you can be made to believe or disbelieve in things you cant prove or disprove...you can be made to believe or disbelieve in anything, true or real or not...because you need no proof for your beliefs or disbeliefs. This makes you credulus and easy to control. Put more bluntly...it kind of makes you a blind fool. It takes strong character to say 'I'll believe it when I see it'...especially when the consequence 'could be' eternal damnation. However, I find it quite ridiculous to assume that one or more omnipotent beings would be so childish as to condemn their own creations to eternal hell...because they used the brains they were given, dont make much sense if you think about it. Mindless lemming goes to heaven...critical thinker goes to hell...that just dont compute.
Pascal reduces religion to game theory, and basically disagrees with you:

God exists + belief in God = heaven
God exists + no belief in God = hell
No God exists + belief in God = nothing
No God exists + no belief in God = nothing

    i think you're a little wrong here.

disproving the existence of god = negative.

Burden of proof lies on proving the positive (proving the existence of god). Logic 101 teaches that we don't have to prove a negative.

Just like you don't have to prove you didn't kill someone, they have to prove that you did.

Actually, in logic and many forms of philosophy it's the other way around -- all is truth until it's disproven.

By this train of thought, it is illogical to "disbelieve" in ANYTHING.

The negative proof fallacy is as alive in 201 as it was in 101.

the idea of logical proof becomes meaningless if all you have to do to prove something is say "A=B because you can't prove it doesn't"

Not true. Probability does not = proof.

actually: no god exists + belief in god = a lifetime wasted trying to please something that does not exist or "hell"...

True -- there are opportunity costs to reining in the urge to fornicate wildly due to religious beliefs.

Others have pointed out problems with Pascal's Wager, for instance the fact that not everyone who believes in "a" God can be right.

    10. You vigorously deny the existence of God, yet you frequently blame Him for all the "evils" in the world, all the natural disasters, and everything else under the sun that is wrong in modern society.

(WTF? reguardless to belief, people blame the Devil)

    8. You criticize fundamental Christians who believe the Bible, and say that it can't possibly be true because it's just a book written by mere men, yet you never question any of Darwin's writings or Richard Dawkins' books

(Darwin or Dawkins...I don't know em to question em)

    7. You can't seem to understand the primary differences between fundamental Muslims and fundamental Christians (hint: strap-on TNT. Plus - Muhammad says, “kill innocent people and yourself if you love me.” Jesus Christ said, “I’ll die for you because I love you”).

OK Know it all...post up them both from the book they appear in please because I surely do recall reading then before)

    6. You say the Bible is full of fairytales and fables, yet you believe all life forms including plants, trees, insects, birds, fish, reptiles and mammals evolved from one species into another - As if evolution isn’t the biggest fairytale of them all.

you believed in the tooth fairy too until you were told it was a myth and havent questioned it since)

    5. You laugh at the Supernatural, even though scientists have calculated the odds of life forming by natural processes to be estimated less than 1 chance in 10 to the 40,ooo power – But you find nothing wrong with believing that billions of years full of random mutations would result in the impossible.

(uhh, Christians believe life as we know it is ONLY 10,000 years - their bible numbers not a made up figure)

    4. You accuse fundamental Christians of being intolerant, judgmental and hateful, while you foam at the mouth calling them freaking lunatics, ignorant, weak-minded, stupid fundies, and hateful bigots.

(go to http://www.godhatesfags.com then holla back about "hateful Bigots pal

    3. You ignore scientific concepts like cause and effect, and you don't realize that a closed system can be defined however the observer wants, so you throw out technological phrases to try to ignore the implications of thermodynamics by saying the laws of physics are not set in stone.

[b](soon as you use SCIENCE to prove your case - you lose it because SCIENCE is the OPPOSITE of RELIGION and has zilch to do with Athethisim(s/p)

    2. While all evidence, logic and reasoning point to a Creator and absolute truth, you prefer to hide behind relativism and a theory of evolution which does not, in fact, describe the creation of the universe at all, or why concepts of good and evil or morality exist.

(what evidence, the bible? That is equal to examining a crime scene that a body never laid on in serch of why the murder occured.

    1. *Atheism fails to adequately explain the existence of eternal, unchanging truths, for it rejects the existence of an eternal unchanging mind. Atheism cannot offer man any eternal significance whatsoever. Temporary meaning in life is insufficient, for our accomplishments die with the death of the universe -- there is no ultimate purpose in a universe void of God.

where you get that one from wikipedia? Get back at me genius. Bet the Wizard Of Oz is once of your oldschool favorites

Christains don't kill, JEHHOVAH just said F*&K ya'll, DIE cuz I be a pissed off Son Og God!
    Jeremiah 14: 10 Thus says Jehovah to this people: Thus they have loved to wander;
    They have not restrained their feet. Therefore Jehovah does not accept them;
He will remember their iniquity now, And punish their sins.

11 Then Jehovah said to me, Do not pray for this people, for their good.

12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and grain offering,
I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
