Im late, but Ice-T shut your dumb ass up.

Coming at soulja boy,a teenager and your a grown ass man.Old enough to be the boys grandfather.Soulja boy didnt destroy hiphop as he said. One could argue that Gangsta rap had a contribution in the decline of hiphop.Im not a big fan of soulja boy but remember this is something that started locally and soulja boy took it national. He makes his own beats, has sold a hell of alot of ring tones and is just having fun with music. Was sugar hill gang all serious when they were out, were the fat boys, what about fresh prince and jazzy jeff.Give me a break hiphop always had elements of silly and serious.

Get over your self Ice fifty year old T.

thank you! I couldn't agree more!!!!

Soulja Boy makes happy, feel good music - stuff that (while I may not totally understand it, and I can't do the dance) it'd be ok for my daughter to sing

Ice T on the other hand? I remember having an Ice T tape back in the day and having to play it on the sly

having fun and making up funny/silly dances

    vs

    glorifying 'Pimp Culture'

I'll take Soulja Boy any and every day . . .

Provactive just dont let your daughter sing that "supersoak a ho" line.Soulja boy has some nasty hidden stuff in his raps lol.But seriously its silly and the kids like to dance to it.Is soulja boy the second coming Of Rakim hell no,but he respresents fun in a time when everything has to be so damn serious. Not to mention, wasnt ice-t the one who sang about killin cops and shit?

Never really got into Ice T back in the day. He just never really showed me much as a rapper/actor. Now his wives/girlfriends are another story... hahahaha

Ice T wasn't so hardcore in Breakin' and Breakin 2 . I had my 13 year old niece watch Breakin' and she thought I was crazy. Though, she loves Soulja Boy. So, that's where Ice T stands with the youths.

    Supersoak a ho? aight . . . I know what to do . . .
I'ma start looking up the lyrics to these songs (my youngers sisters are into this typa stuff, the whole crunk/jook movement and it's like a pied piper thing for the youth)

"superman that ho" = cum on her back and then lay a sheet on her...hopefully it sticks so when she stands she has a cape stuck to her back...the glue in this sticky situation would be the cum

    this isn't for kids.

NWA, Ice T, Too Short were the founding fathers and start of the Decline of Hip Hop. Public Enemy and Positive Rap groups were the bomb!
