I just heard they fired Mike North's ass on the SCORE????

    What happened ?????

Mike used to be really good to me, when he began to talk politics and off sports topics, his thoughts and views changed my perception of who he was and I didn't support his shows anymore further, I thought he was a fuggin mooron..........

anybody know why they dumped his ass ????

    They didn't exactly fire him.

He was making $1.5 MIL for that awful show of his and his contract was expiring.

Citing low ratings (and they were), the Score offered to re-sign North for $750,000 and North refused.

As of last Friday, the Score took their offer off the table and North off the air. Mully and Hanley have been filling in this week.

    And that's where it stands.......JMJ

The business of radio is crazy.

15 years is a long run for one station, he survived all the crazy stuff he said over the years.

How many folks would come back to a job at half your salary, hard to ponder such a decision?

WSCR will go on, it's a popular sports outlet for Chicago.

Mulligan and Hanley would be a good fit for mornings, sports without the rants and offensive political commentary.
