My parents have been in China for 3 months lately.
In little web cafes in the countryside, they were able to send almost anything on their journey's blog, and send emails with any content.
When they were in Beijing (Pekin), they had to deliver their passports to the owner of the webcafe so he can make a copy and trace back eventual content sent outside and inside of china's network.
Some words were blocking the outgoing emails.

That's China, where 40 000 policemen are checking the national network and shutting down websites and blocking emails everyday.

And it was in the last 3 months...
