I would like to invite you to make the drive down I-94 to Detroit for the SCP/Urban Groove 3rd Annual Back Pack Drive & House Music Picnic on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Belle Isle Shed 19. The entry to this event is free just bring a back pack w/ school supplies, picnic baskets, family, friends and we will provide the BEATS with a line up of Detroit's BEST Dj's spinning. I spoke to the picnic organizers and there are hotel rooms are available for those who want to come to the picnic.
There are a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express 1020 Washington Blvd $99 call and ask for urban groove 3rd annual back pack drive. They will need ot secure with credit card rate is for Friday and Saturday 313-887-7030.
