Had a NON combat related Injury this morning...

Had to get stiched up after I lost a good amount of skin off my knee via a fan blade.

I am stiched and fluided back up, cut down to the kneecap and fellout from the loss of blood.

What really piss me off is the fact that some people are not answering their phone (on that I don't know the number crap) when it is a know fact that if a odd number come up, more than likely it's me.

Be real F'kd up if they hear something serious happens and all they can think back too is "He was trying to call me".

I need not say that I am pissed!!!

Man...I'm glad it was something like a fan blade and not some nasty explosive thing out in the field. Take care of yourself...and remember not to mess w the fan rotors ever again!!!

it's so hot here that they got a load of cheap ass fans from some country in the area and they are falling apart. Plenty of people are getting hurt by them. The front covers are falling off, the base gives way on some and they have fell on people and the fans are 220 with large metal blades.

Just another example of how this whole thing over here is loaded with bandade quick fixes beacuse nobody has a clue on a thing and it is beyond the point that anybody really cares anymore.

All this Iraq things was / is - is a finish what daddy couldnt do pimp game based on a lie.

I'll be ok but - this will not get me home early - did get me some good meds (that is the only upside)

i feel ya man hope u get the fuck outta their soon bro! its all bullshit the ARMY IS A CULT! when i was on entry control point tower guard their was a 50 cal range right to the side of us and numerous amount of times some of us were patroling the front gate entrance down the lane outside the wire and 50 cal rounds from friendly fire whistles by our heads within 10 ft no joke
