Now we're talkin'. All hail the turntable. Although I'm starting to think that the digital boys may have created a worthy competitor with this one.

It has a sex appeal to it... :D
Why can't I change my displayed name back to Ashaki?
Simplicity, that's all you need.
It does one thing and only one thing, and that is to play records.

Didn't all the legendary jocks use Thorens? Does anybody other than tony Humphries still use them?
With desire, the world is tied down. With the subduing of desire it\'s freed. With the abandoning of desire all bonds are cut through.
Some guys like to take care of their cars and some guys like to take care of their turntables. I prefer the tables.
We didn't have the technology for it back then. Can't knock technology for giving us extra toys to play with. Originally posted by Martin Red:

spool ? I have seen this before but a really complicated version, with the needle on upside down, playing a record backwards and upside down,
cotton spools X 2 i think , vinyl times two one off the deck itself, looked like the inside of a wind up watch, this was pure show though, at one of the DMC championships.

Talking of DMC Championships, I remember being at one where this local guy had a flavour flav huge watch attatched to his wrist, he was scrachting Al Naaayfish (that old chestnut ;) ) , he was ripping it up, then while scratching "it's time" he was doing the scratch one handed whilst lokking at the watch, crowd loved it until the watch strap snapped and this big ben fell right onto the decks ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZIP !

That's it. </font>
I studied it but never got it, getting it working looks a skill in itself, will I need an engineering degree to do this ? :DOriginally posted by JAMIE 3:26:
