spool ? I have seen this before but a really complicated version, with the needle on upside down, playing a record backwards and upside down,
cotton spools X 2 i think , vinyl times two one off the deck itself, looked like the inside of a wind up watch, this was pure show though, at one of the DMC championships.

Talking of DMC Championships, I remember being at one where this local guy had a flavour flav huge watch attatched to his wrist, he was scrachting Al Naaayfish (that old chestnut ;) ) , he was ripping it up, then while scratching "it's time" he was doing the scratch one handed whilst lokking at the watch, crowd loved it until the watch strap snapped and this big ben fell right onto the decks ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZIP !

That's it. </font>[/QUOTE]I studied it but never got it, getting it working looks a skill in itself, will I need an engineering degree to do this ? :D </font>[/QUOTE]Not hard at all Martin.Just get a nice sized spool of thread and a pencil,flip your headshell upside down,take the wieght to the back of the tonearm so it's flying in the air.Put the song you want to play backwards on the bottom,place the needle on the record and boom,you got it goin backwards.The only thing you have to do is to adjust the weight on the tonearm so it's playing right.
