    Thanks for the understanding Dave.

In reference to this topic, the whole party/nightlife genre is oversaturated with alot of DJs and promoters not paying their dues. After reading alot of the posts in this particular forum, I find that MOST of them (the amateurs) are not caring about the quality of their work but the quantity of what's going in their pockets.

As for the charges against me, I am unconcerned. I am beyond their timid lying morality, and so I am beyond caring.

I had to edit my post. I saw where the mistake was. It's not ALL but MOST OF THE AMATEURS that comes with these egos and have nothing to show for it.

Dayum right. Of course one would want the spot where everyone can hear them but that can't be everyone. You're getting paid, so play that shit like there is no tomorrow and fuck where you are at in the line up.

Your bitch ass shouldn't have signed on to be on a multi DJ gig to begin with.

I feel you on this one. Pahleease. All the time. I went to a party earlier this year where Kevin Hedge was the featured guest dj. One dj wanted his time slot changed w/another dj because he couldn't get off work and asked to close. The other dj-whom most of the crowd was there for, should have closed. To me, what ever happened to asking for that day off in advance, if this event is so important to you. Then, he showed up drunk, nobody came out for him and by the time he got on, the crowd was gone.

Had an unprofessional show up 5 min to 9, when he had to be on at 9. He wanted to close. I told him, by the time you set up and finish your sound check, your set will be over...bye bye.
