Thumbs up Working On Building a Mobile Sound System..

Sorta like big and small equipment. By next year it should be complete. So i'll be in the market for renting systems for park events and medium to small events. So If you are a dj all you have to do is bring your cd books.

ive used this a bunch of times at my old job. for mobile dj use, i wouldnt recommend it. it sounds ok, but its a pain in the ass to move and stack. a standard tower would be 3 subs and 2 tops, but the tops are a bit heavier than the subs and imo play much louder than the subs relative to dance music. Biggest complaint is that there are too many boxes to move. I'd rather push and lift 2 neodym 2x18s than 3 1x18 cobalts. when transporting them from the truck to the dancefloor, it is really annoying to either have to strap 2 boxes together or waste time pushing one at a time or keeping one from sliding off another. The stack itself is just a skinny tower, so you have to be further careful about some idiot knocking it over.

Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, there are a number of designs i would recommend more.
