Arrow All Jokes Aside: DJs Wanted!

We will NOT respond to ANY comments on this thread.
We are serious, and we pay well.

If you have comments, negative or positive, please comment in the thread titled: "'DJs Wanted!' Post Comments" which is also within the Deep House & Disco Talk 2008 Forum.

This is not a joke at all.

To apply, you must meet these requirements:

    1. Underground & Old School House Music Only
No B Side or other Obscure Music
Some newer music allowed if it's really a 'beater'.

    2. You must be willing to dig and find those old school hits. There's more to
the musical landscape than Teddy Pendergrass' Bad Luck, etc.

    3. You must be willing to promote yourself. Deephousepage.com &
Bringtheheat.com are not the end of promotion. *flyers will be provided*
Like Barack Obama, you need to get grassroots with your promotion. Get
to know your listeners and invite them personally to come and hear you spin.

    4. No vinyl.

We will NOT respond to ANY comments on this thread.

    5. You must be able to keep the system sounding good. If the mixer is reading in the red on the master volume, you obviously don't know what the f*ck you are doing and do not need to apply. If you want it louder, then please contact the promoter at the party, before you go changing sh*t.

    Amps provide power, not mixers.

If you want to close the party and you have someone whom you think will be a good opener, and you want them to spin with you, then this is wonderful. Know that opening djs should not expect any money from Da House Spot.

If interested, please forward your resume to dahousespot@gmail.com

Patrons come first, promoters come 2nd...
djs keep the first @ 2nd happy, so they can be happy too.

These are the 3 elements of a successful event.

We will NOT respond to ANY comments on this thread.

    Thank you,

    Ron, Huck, & Robert

most dj mixers host amplifiers within their channel faders.

and why would you ask a promoter about a technical audio question?
