1980-when Ronald Regan spoke about reducing the level of government involvement in the lives of american people, I can't help but think that he really meant deregulating policies that were instituted in order to keep unscrupulous "business" people in check however, he knew what to say in order to rile up Joe Sixpack, and Jane Cocksuckermom: spin a bullshit yarn about welfare mothers in public housing, driving Cadillacs, on the hardworking american's dime and how he plans to put an end to it.

Fast forward to 2008, and McCain openly admits that he has no plans to tax the wealthy, or to "spread the wealth" and all he needs to do is espouse some warm and fuzzy words about "patriotism" and hardworking (and hateful) "Joes" and "Janes" for whom he has cares absolutely nothing about to begin with. I was watching an episode of Meet the Press back in 2004, and I remember some republican dude saying: "One of our biggest goals for 2005 is to keep wages down." Correct me if I'm wrong but, Joe Sixpack and Jane Hockeymom works for an hourly wage right? The problem isn't that gas is $5.00 a gallon, it seems like the problem is that average American (Joe and Jane) haven't had a wage increase since the late 1990s. But Joe and Jane don't see that, they see that Barack Obama doesn't look like them-and that's cause enough to rally against him.

Joe the Plumber, the star of tonight's debate, may have a very interesting connection to John McCain. In fact, Joe the Plumber (Joe Wurzelbacher) of Cincinnati, Ohio may be related to one Robert Wurzelbacher of Cincinnati, Ohio, who happens to be Charles Keating's son-in-law.

Robert Wurzelbacher was implicated in the Keating 5 scandal, and sentenced to 40 months in prison in 1993.

Wurzelbacher is also a huge Republican donor.

So, let's find out a bit about Joe Wurzelbacher.

First, he seems to own a few companies:

Ok, so the first three are all on the same road. The last one, a few minutes away.

Already, I'm a bit suspicious of this guy. He claims to be a plumber looking to buy a small business. Yet, he seems to own quite a few already. Are we sure this guy is middle class?

Now, what about Robert Wurzelbacher?

Well, to start with he's from Milford, OH, right outside of Cincinnati.

Next, according to Newsmeat, he owns "Cincinnati Dowel & Wood":

And where is this company located?

Which is, you guessed it, right outside of Cincinnati, OH.

Joe's a plumber, painter, and all-around home repairman.

Robert owns a wood company.

Both have the last name Wurzelbacher, live and work in and around Cincinnati, OH.

Do I have proof that the two are related? No. But something sure as hell doesn't add up. At the very least, this guy, who now seems to be a hero on the right, does not seem to be the 'average joe' he claims to be.

And If you haven't yet read the interview with Joe the Plumber, please do. This guy is no undecided voter, he's clearly a McCain guy.

Update: I'll be the first to admit the evidence here proves nothing. I don't have the resources to do much more. But some of the comments don't seem to even give this consideration. And comparing this to the Palin pregnancy thing? I'm not attacking a candidates family. In fact, I'm not doing much attacking at all. And if you've read the interview and watched the video youd know this guy doesnt deserve protection. And no , this won't backfire, cause I'm just some guy posting on a blog. I can post a story like this, and you can choose to ignore it. But I'm not making shit up.
