If someone thought the DJ you had booked sucked, would you consider it an insult to you and your party?

It would depend who said it, how much/often they patronize, and what you determine is truly driving their opinion.

Feedback is never and insult to a person ... unless the person is a defensive, self-centered asshole -- and if you own/manage the succesful offering, sometimes it's OK to be that too, b/c you can easily give that person their walking papers w/o missing a beat

Good question V and the answer is no, a patron should be able to discuss their feelings about the party to the promoter, I personally think it can be an effective tool as a way of understanding what some of your people are looking for relative to DJ's and such..........

Bottom line is that you won't be able to satisfy everyone's individual concerns, but you are or should be in a constant search of understanding how to make your product better.......
