Does anyone have a thought or concern about what's in store for preserving this music we all love and feel has the capabilities for raising those once considered dead. Is HOUSE eventually going to just phase itself out of existence or will there at some point be a resurgence of the music (as it should be). We should all be doing our part to keep it alive. Play the music to your family, friends, children, etc along with explaining the sheer essence of what HOUSE is all about. It ain't just beats and bass...it has a universal dimensional complex which once realized has an addictive component to it. We have all been blessed to understand and come up during a period in history when the music was played in clubs, and black radio stations. This I sense is slowly being phased out with the generational turn over. We have small parts to play in keeping it ALIVE. Take for instance...WRKS 98.7 KISS FM is unique in that they are keeping the sound going even though if you listen to black radio stations across this country from Los Angeles to Miami; they've chosen to discontinue playing HOUSE Music, with an heir of hostility with it and I must say that I find that totally strange because if a track has the subliminal messages in the song of shooting and/or killing your brother then it is respected and perceived as powerful thus garnering respect but if you have subliminal messages in a song about unity, or loving your broher it is perceived as being weak, sissy, music. I feel so weird and I feel I do not belong in this crazy ass society because I certainly cannot and will not comply and allow myself to fit in with the bullshit perpetrated. Is it just me or can I get an AMEN. HOLLA BACK my HOUSE MUSIC lovin brothas and sistas. Keep on playin and promoting the music. Shout outs to KISS FM 98.7 and HOUSE MUSIC DJ's for being unique and keeping the sound around. Dirk.
