That might be so.. but in this case I think the people with the so high standard... need to stop and be realistic..
You want someone to be held accountable for things out of there control...

You know what I can see this if Robbi posted hey we knew they werent gonna come but we just didn't think that you should be informed..

I don't know for sure how things happened but neither do most of the people here... I can only go by what Robbi wrote..

One Dj pulled out at the last minute
other djs just didnt show up.
In Louie Vega's case he showed up but was too tired to play for all the happened at the park that,the fact that he even showed up i thought was awfully nice of him anyway.
However I'm not trying to tell you what you should or have paid for,but check this out,

then we had all thoes Djs just three didnt show up, two showed up and didnt play which was totally beyond our control

The perceived lack of professionalism is this: if said djs weren't going to play, management should have made every effort to posts signs notifying people at the door that they weren't. If the circumstances didn't allow that (the djs didn't want to play or whatever), then that explanation along with a simple apology would suffice. These are basic standards of professionalism and accountability that anything worth respect are held against. Why shouldn't the Shelter be held in at least that esteem? [/QB]

I agree. If somebody is not playing, at least tell the patrons at the door that so and so will not perform, and let the custumers make the decision if it is still worth it to attend the party.

really, it's about a lack of respect for customers that was clearly displayed.
