OMG, what a miserable day! The ice underfoot made me do a Hamel-Camel. The rain, sleet and that baby hawk flapping its wings ready to take flight have worked my last nerve. Oh yes, the first day of winter came in with a big bang.

Although a miserable day, there's so much beauty to be found. The glistening ice makes me think of diamonds. The raindrops remind me of tears of happiness. And the dampness makes me wanna just snuggle closer to my man (if I had one).

Due to Mother Nature wielding her fierceness upon the Northeast Corridor, I cancelled my plans to party in Newark and NYC. Damn, damn, damn.

However, for those of you brave enough to deal with Mother Nature today, please have a great time and be safe.
