    Seven Pounds - Whew!

I just saw Will Smith's new film and all I can say without giving anything away is I thought this film was a cross between the films 21 GRAMS, LEAVING LAS VEGAS and PAY IT FORWARD.

If you saw it what did you think and are you feeling the films I've compared this film to?

21 Grams and Leaving Los Vegas, yes
It was an ok film, Will didn't connect with me on this one like he did on The Pursuit of Happyness though. Rosario Dawson did an excellent job in my opinion.

Yeah it was kinda hard to take him in this role.

Sad part is, I know he could have dug a little deeper to pull off the dramitic role that he was aiming for:(
Dude is a grade A+ actor in my book

Mine too. Could it have been the editing?

I will have to wait to see the DVD extras to make that judgement. But as it stands, it left me a little dissapointed:(
Nixon/Frost was a good one. You might want to check that out

Will's been doing press for the past couple of weeks for the film.
And supposedly the plot of the story was so hush hush.
But I knew what it was by watching the trailer.
So I wasn't as blown away as I expected to be.
All of the actors did a fine job. But I didn't leave the theater
    feeling satisfied.
I hear 'Milk', 'Frost Nixon' and Meryl Streep's 'Doubt' are very good.

If it sounds like three other films, i'm guessing it's shit.

I am going to see that today as a matter of fact. I wanted to see that more than anything. A friend of mine told me that it is the movie of the year.
