Looks interesting but they showing the vinyl like it's not an acetate (when they show no sratching). This device is going for 3200 Euros (how ever much US dollar this is)? Wonder how much all the material would cost?

Man, that Vestex is a hefty price. Still the problem with these home made kits is that they need to be in the right hands. Or the acetates might sound like crap.
Btw. I wish they made a device like this along with a stamper. That way you could press some real vinyl instead of acetates. But I'm sure the materials would be rather expensive for pressing just a few runs.

not sure about how brittle they are, but they aren't built to be as lasting as vinyl, a few plays. Saying that I remember Shaun Williams playing his accetate of this
