for a 50 odd seater bus - full up thats up to 50 cars taken off short or longer journeys - thats a decent saving if we're taking about going to work every day...

trains, trams, and trolleys are mostly electric around the world. WHile a diesel bus does spew out some filth, tehre are natural gas buses and a bus is still a lot more efficient than the amount of cars moving an equivalent amount of people.
