In Lincoln's defense...there have been numerous West Coast house-bashing threads oh DHP. And, I have heard plenty of people moan at the club (and afterwards) when Timmy starts bringing out the Naked joints. I don't think that his opinion is all that unusual.
Personally, I don't see any reason not to play and support that type of house. Honestly, much of the West Coast stuff sounds very similar to the Solu tracks and Ananda releases (Chris B has released on a few West Coast imprints), which get a lot of support on the East Coast. It's a shame that there was such a backlash here when Naked began getting stale...
I think its well settled that Naked became cookie cutter music though.
TAC </font>[/QUOTE]Really...it's not that complicated, guys. I'm defending Lincoln's right to his opinion...though I don't agree with it. From the responses to his post, you'd think that he'd comitted blasphemy...I just wanted to point out that his opinion on the matter is one that has been widely held and supported here and elsewhere.
There's no flip-flopping. He has a reasonable opinon, which I don't share.
Damn...always a fight here.
