Man I spent 1977-1985 living in Vienna, Austria, ages 8 on up so this was the sound track of my youth. I absolutely adore Nena, saw her three times in Vienna. If you watch her live stuff on youtube I think she and the band hold up well to the test of time.

One of the great one hit wonders of the 80's. They did one magnificent song.............and were never heard of ever again. I hate it though, because for some inexplicable reason this gets shitloads of airplay on German commercial radio. You can hear this practically daily, for the past 15 years. Out of all the possible 80's hits, all the commercial radio programming jocks homed in on this one as their lowest common denominator yesteryear hit. Baffling.
