James Curd began djing in Chicago in the early nineties. By the time he was 19 he was holding down residencies with Derrick Carter and releasing music on labels around the world.
James wrote a wide array of songs and released "Should I Sing Like This" under the name Greenskeepers. "Should I Sing Like This" became a hit with djs in the city and around the world. Greenskeepers was gaining steam in every direction including press support from Rolling Stone.
James continued to release music and dj under the name Greenskeepers. His song "Low and Sweet" off of the Classic release "What's Your Man Got To Do With Gan" further cemented his swing house signature.
A couple of years later James set out to make a new Greenskeepers album and finished "Pleetch" which had many guest vocalist on it. Many songs off of "Pleetch" were licensed to TV. Most notably "Back In The Wild", You Don't Know Me" and "Lotion" were licensed to "Greys Anatomy". "Pleetch" was released on Classic and OM in 2004.
In 2005 James took a live show on the road. The live show was a great success and made a huge impression on some of the most respected clubs around the world from Fabric in London to Home in Sydney. The live show also made a big impact in the electronic world at some of the best music festivels such as T In The Park in Scotland, Electric Picnic in Dublin, Park Life in Australia and Lollapalooza in Chicago.
After touring non stop to all ends of the earth James went back into the studio. In 2006 "Polo Club" was released. Full of electronic rock "Polo Club" was hailed in music and lifestyle magazines and sent the live show off on the road again to support the new album.
Currently James has done a song for the new video game "Grand Theft Auto IV" which was used for the national commercial campaign. He has also signed his single "We Just Won't Stop" to James Murpheys label DFA. James is just about to release a new mix cd for the Australian club Electric Circus coming out on OM in conjunction with his own label GKM. To round up a busy year James has also finished an album with Tommie Sunshine under the name "The Projects" that will be released this fall.

DJ, Producer, remix, Re-Editor</font>
In the early 80's, a 12-year-old kid out of Chicago named Jordan
Fields had already taught himself to break-dance, DJ and make re-edits
using a boombox and a little pause-button dexterity. Inspired by his
older brother, he became a fanatic about mixing and scratching and
soon found himself DJ'ing in the earliest days of what would later be
known as the "Chicago House" scene.
Hooking up with Rick Lenoir (producer of LNR's "Work It to the Bone"-
House Jam) in the early 90's, Fields released his first vinyl
"Thrillseekers" EP, a jazzy house and disco classic featuring Jordan
on the mic scatting "SHOO BEE DOO DOO WAAAAAAAAA!!".
Hundreds of releases later on both major and indie labels, Fields has
refined a sophisticated, soulful groove at times while always keeping
the dirty sound of hte underground close by for a balance. This
versatile style has made him a household name the world over.
His release on James Lavelle's (UNKLE producer) Mo' WAX label,
"Moments In Dub" was a both commercial and critical success by mashing
up deep-house, hip hop and acid-fried funk into the mix. Fields
contributed to Derrick Carter & Mark Farina's "Live At Om" mix-cd (OM
RECORDINGS) with "The Session (Move Ya Body remix)", a track composed
by Jordan and longtime friend Roy Davis Jr.
Fields continues to run his own labels LeFreQ, Minimalizm, Headphoniq
and various others he's behind while working with artists David Britton, LeAndre
de Paris aka DJ LeAndre and many others and is currently making the DJ rounds spinning
sets of wild and diverse styles from Chicago Jack, NYC Garage, Disco,
Detroit Techno, Electro, Nu Wave and Dub
